Outside Temp: 95

Hi again. Very hot here today. Got home - car was sun soaked. Got a different set of guages - Robinair. Started the car and let the system stabilize - got a low side of 22 and high side of 240. The vent on the drivers side is around 47 degrees, center vent about 40 or so. The evap is pee-ing out quite a bit of condensate. Is this normal? System is an aftermarket vintage air type affair.

PS - I didnt vacuum the system when I recharged this spring. Is this a problem? Or are my pressures good. This is a clip of text from the vintage web site:

II. ACCEPTABLE OPERATING PRESSURE RANGES FOR VINTAGE AIR SYSTEMS
A. R134A TYPE
1. HIGH-SIDE PRESSURES ( 160-250 PSI ) * Note- general rule of thumb is two times the ambient ( daytime ) temperature, plus 15-20%.
2. LOW-SIDE PRESSURES ( 06-12 PSI in a steady state)
3. CENTER DUCT TEMPERATURE ( 36-46 DEGREES F.)

Isnt 6-12 PSI low?

Ian
