Automotive Air Conditioning Retrofit

By now most everyone knows what a retrofit is. You’ll find most of your customers have already heard the term retrofit - or - can easily grasp the concept. Almost everyone knows the common trade name for R12 (Freon), and It’s not hard to explain that Freon production has ended and a newer ozone friendly refrigerant is being used in its place. We’ll talk about what is required to retrofit the average vehicle, and discuss some of the myths that have appeared over the last ten years.
